NAS board member Sandra Stotsky is involved with an initiative in Massachusetts to put a referendum on the ballot that would end the state’s use of the Common Core State Standards. The organization sent a press release yesterday explaining how both tests aligned with the Common Core produce meaningless results, and calling for a return to pre-Common Core standards.
Dr. Stotsky is a contributor to a new book edited by NAS president Peter Wood, Drilling through the Core: Why Common Core is Bad for America, which will be available starting September 28.
