Sandra Stotsky Talks Common Core on Al Jazeera

NAS board member Sandra Stotsky, who served on the National Validation Committee for the Common Core, discussed the State Standards on Al Jazeera on September 28. Dr. Stotsky is an expert on K-12 curricula and has conducted extensive analysis of the Common Core State Standards. Her most recent report, with R. James Milgram, "Lowering the Bar: How Common Core Math Fails to Prepare High School Students for STEM," was published by the Pioneer Institute this month.
