Member Nominations for the NAS Board

National Association of Scholars

NAS will hold its annual membership meeting at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Alma Mathews House at 275 W. 11th Street, New York City, New York 10014. All current NAS members are welcome to attend for an update on NAS’s work in 2015, and for the election of new members to the board of directors. If you plan to attend the meeting, please RSVP at [email protected].

Members are also invited to submit nominations for open seats on the board. In accordance with NAS’s bylaws, NAS members wishing to make nominations must notify NAS secretary B. Nelson Ong in writing no later than August 24, 2015.  Please submit nominations by email to [email protected]. Only individuals who have been members for at least one year may make nominations and nominees must themselves be qualified members of at least one year standing.  Nominations by petition must have the written support of three hundred members.
